Glee Star Believed to Have Died From Drug Overdose.
Glee star, Cory Monteith, was found dead in his hotel room in Canada from an apparent drug overdose.
Monteith had been battling substance abuse and earlier this year check himself into a treatment facility. The Vancouver Police Department would not say what if anything was found at the scene or if it was a definite drug overdose. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
After his springtime rehab stint his Glee co-star and real-life girlfriend said she was proud he was seeking help. He previously received addiction treatment at age 19, and admitted in interviews about having taken “anything and everything.” He also said in an interview in 2011 about his recovery that he was “lucky to be alive.”
