We are honored to partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network and PsychArmor as a Veteran-Ready program, providing detox and residential treatment services to our nation’s military community. In many cases, individuals in this population do not receive an appropriate level of treatment from people who understand the full impact of military service. Our team at Seabrook does.
Our Tactical Recovery program provides Veteran-specific programming groups twice a week during residential treatment and uses trauma-informed care within a service-oriented culture. Our trained staff apply evidence-based practices that are effective for Veterans with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health diagnosis.
Bridge Care
When there isn’t current availability at a VA facility, but a veteran needs immediate help, our Bridge Care program can be the answer. With proper authorization, veterans can start receiving care at our Tactical Recovery program locations until services can be secured at a VA facility. This bridge can support veterans when they need help, and start them on the road to recovery sooner.
Offered at all Tactical Recovery locations, Bridge Care offers:

Military Sexual Trauma
While female Veterans face similar problems as their male counterparts – such as homelessness, suicidal thoughts and attempts, substance misuse, PTSD,
depression, anxiety, and more – women experience many of these problems more severely than male Veterans, often with less support. Military sexual trauma (MST) is a specific experience defined by the VA as both sexual harassment and sexual assault in military settings.
This may include:
★ Harassment on tour
★ Assault by an officer during training
★ Intimate partner violence from a fellow military spouse
WIM has a structured, intensive 6-week program curriculum that includes EMDR.
