April is Alcohol Awareness Month

Established in 1987 by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD), April was declared Alcohol Awareness Month. The theme for this year is “Help for today. Hope for tomorrow” which hopes to raise awareness for the millions who suffer from alcohol related disorders. The organization helps to educate those on learning the signs and symptoms associated with alcoholism and urges those who suffer from alcohol dependency to seek treatment.
