Addressing pain is one step in the overall goal of realigning our mind, bodies, and souls from the throes of addiction. In utilizing modern and holistic wellness activities, Seabrook’s Wellness department combines eastern and western medicine to give patients the benefit of physical relief so they’re able to focus on recovery. Within Seabrook’s health and wellness department there are different programs to help patients heal faster and healthier.
One program Seabrook offers is the chronic pain group. In this group, our staff assists patients to feel better physically so that they can think clearer mentally. Without pain patients are more relaxed and their immune system can focus on their recovery. We are proud to offer our patients many different modalities to manage their pain. Some techniques used are electrical stimulation, cupping, magnets, heating cooling patches, bio free spray, and education on diet and nutrition. Through addressing pain, our patients are not only able to think better, but also receive better sleep, more energy, and less anxiety.
