Zac Efron Speaks Out About His Addiction

Zac Efron who is best known for his starring role in “High School Musical” speaks out about his battle with addiction. The 26-year old actor sought treatment for his addiction in 2013 but is not ready to face the media regarding his struggle with drugs and alcohol. “It was a never-ending struggle,” says Efron. “I was drinking a lot, way too much”.

The actor was trying to evolve from a teen star to more adult roles in movies such as “The Lucky One” when he realized he felt isolated and turned to alcohol to help comfort him.
