New Jersey Man Busted Selling Drugs to Undercover Cop

A man from Woodbridge, New Jersey, was convicted recently of agreeing to sell a kilo of cocaine to an undercover New Jersey State Police officer. In addition to the cocaine, the man also had marijuana stashed in his child’s bedroom. With all his charges, first-degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, second-degree conspiracy, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and more, he faces a sentence of 10 to 20 years. An associate of his from Perth Amboy was arrested at the same time and is also facing significant jail time.

New Jersey state Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa said, “We’re aggressively targeting large-scale distribution of narcotics in New Jersey, whether it is by individual dealers such as this man or major drug networks with gang ties.” People who use drugs in illicit ways may not think much about the consequences of their actions, but they are directly supporting criminal activity. The good news is that no matter what the drug is, whether it’s cocaine, heroin, prescription pills, marijuana, alcohol, meth, PCP, bath salts, or anything else, the same remedy works the best: a good treatment program at a top-rated facility.

If you or someone you know has a problem with addiction or dependence to synthetic drugs, you should seek help now. Thankfully, there is good help available. Detoxification and behavioral therapy have proven to be effective in treating drug dependence. Addicts are often unable to complete treatment on their own or with family members, so it’s very important to seek the right treatment center. At Seabrook, we customize our treatment plans to individual patient’s needs, so you know the help you’re getting is right for you or a loved one. Seabrook has rehabilitation centers in New Jersey (NJ), Pennsylvania (PA), and an outpatient center in New York (NY). Contact Seabrook today for any questions about drugs, addiction, and treatment.
