Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay Discusses Addiction

Indianapolis Colts owner, Jim Irsay is not ready to discuss the details of his arrest in March however, in a recent interview he opens up about his battle with addiction. “These diseases, both alcoholism and addiction, much like bipolar or depression and different illnesses, are not seen as real diseases,” said Irsay. He stated that he feels people shy away from seeking treatment because it is viewed as being somewhat morally off the path and that they have lost their way. Although it is 2014, there is still a stigma around those battling addiction.
