Overcoming Bath Salt Addiction

The bath salt epidemic has gotten scary and people that are addicted to this new drug have displayed some shocking side effects. It’s a dangerous drug to get involved with and a local news station in Michigan interviewed a woman about her experiences. She explained her struggle with bath salts:  “I lost the main reason to me being alive. Somebody came over, I watched them inject it, and they got extremely high,” she said. “I wanted to try it, then I began doing it every single day for weeks upon weeks.” Describing her addiction as “disgusting,” she said she was simply living to chase a high that she only enjoyed for a few moments, merely tolerating the side effects. “I was hallucinating–I thought my dog was talking to me, I thought people were peeking in my windows,” she said.

Users have described bath salts as more addictive than crystal meth and cocaine, so abuse shouldn’t be taken lightly.
