Bob Casey of Pennsylvania announced that he helped to launch a bipartisan working group in an effort to tackle the increasing prescription drug abuse cases reported throughout the state. “I’m hopeful this bipartisan working group can reach consensus on an approach that begins to tackle this growing problem,” says Casey. Part of his plan includes; prescription drug monitoring programs as well as training and educating health care providers.
