Another Death in New Jersey, As a Result of a Drug Overdose
Last week a 25-year-old man from Toms River was found unconscious by his father. He was reported dead later that night. The cause of death was a herroin overdose, officials said. The death marks at least the 53rd fatality from a heroin overdose in Ocean County this year, the same figure for the total heroin-related deaths in all of last year. The surge in heroin-related deaths in Ocean County is particularly high in Toms River, where one out of five fatal overdoses occurred.
