Camden County Creates Addiction Awareness Task Force

The Camden County Freeholder Board recently created and appointed members to its Addiction Awareness Task Force. The task force will promote awareness of addiction, educate the community on the disease and provide resources to those struggling.
The task force includes law enforcement representatives, parent representatives, health care representatives and school representatives from all over Camden County. This diverse group will create programs to educate the residents of the county on the resources available to them while trying to prevent addiction. They will also support these programs once implemented.
Having programs like this available to a community will lower rates of addiction and provide support that would be otherwise unavailable.
